Numerical model for the dynamic and seismic analysis of pile-supported structures with a meshless integral representation of the layered soil

Abstract This paper presents a three–dimensional linear numerical model for the dynamic and seismic analysis of pile-supported structures that allows to represent simultaneously structures, pile foundations, soil profile incident waves that, therefore, takes directly into account structure–pile–soil interaction. The use advanced Green’s functions behaviour layered soils, not only leads very compact representation problem simplification in preparation data files (no meshes are needed soil), but also take arbitrarily complex profiles problems with large numbers elements. excitation is implemented as planar body (P or S) propagating through from an infinitely–distant source impinging on site any generic angle incidence. response system evaluated frequency domain, results time domain then obtained using frequency–domain method Fast Fourier Transform.
